I am very honored and hope to attend the celebration on May 29th. I was actually quite surprised when I heard the news since I had received much more interest in my book outside the U.S. than in the States, but nonetheless, I am truly grateful that counter conventional ideas are still appreciated. After all, learning something new should never be viewed as threatening but rather seen as a gift that is priceless.

Winter Storm Nemo had me bemoaning when I received an email from American Airlines informing me that my flight was canceled and that they were unsuccessful in re-booking on another flight me. I was hoping to celebrate Chinese New Year’s with my family, but as the old saying goes, “We plan and God laughs.” Well, an unexpected piece of good news came while I was experiencing cabin fever.
