Many thanks to the judges who selected me to be the GOLD winner of the 2013 awards that were officially announced on May 7, 2013: http://www.independentpublisher.com/article.php?page=1653

I am very honored and hope to attend the celebration on May 29th. I was actually quite surprised when I heard the news since I had received much more interest in my book outside the U.S. than in the States, but nonetheless, I am truly grateful that counter conventional ideas are still appreciated. After all, learning something new should never be viewed as threatening but rather seen as a gift that is priceless.

To the Austrians: Thanks for making the Year of the (Snowy) Snake a good one for me!
